We have been advised by Basketball England to support everyone in the basketball community following the Governments decision to remove all social distancing measures from the 19th July 2021. We have opted to adopt a flexible and responsible protocol in order to ensure everyone's safety. The following rules apply to all indoor sessions : 1. Attendees advised before leaving the house, they should check they do not have a high temperature, do not have a persistent cough, they have not lost their sense of taste and/or smell, they have not been in contact with a person with suspected COVID-19 within the past 10 days, they have not been advised to self-isolate as per NHS guidance 2. An attendance register to be kept with all participating players in each session ( Name, Surname, Residential Address, Mobile phone and email) 3. Vaccination status to be updated as members get vaccinated 4. No visitors, audience or non-playing members will be allowed inside the sports hall premises. 5. All sessions will be limited strictly to 18 people ( maximum capacity) 6. A temperature measurement will be taken before each session. Any symptoms of COVID-19 are to be reported immediately 7. All hands to be sanitised prior to and during the games. The ball is to be sanitised and changed in every game 8. Assist the venue operator by cleaning down heavily used areas and surfaces using a sanitiser 9.All attendees are reminded : • Don’t share water bottles/towels/jerseys etc. • Basketballs should be washed or wiped down after sessions 10.
